Pretty Plastic's latest innovation to feature on Wageningen University's new sustainable building

Pretty Plastic is proud to announce the upcoming large-scale application of our recently launched "Basic Third" tile from our product portfolio. This fall, our "Basic Third" facade tiles, made from 100% recycled PVC, will adorn the facade of the newly constructed Plus Ultra III research centre at Wageningen University & Research.

This cutting-edge building, covering approximately 7,600 m² of space for laboratories, pilot plants, and offices, is a milestone in sustainable architecture. The structure, predominantly built from wood (CLT), results in a CO2-negative construction, significantly contributing to stringent sustainability goals. The development of our tiles was made possible through a close collaboration with the architectural firm Proof of the Sum and Kadans Science Partner.
