ABOUT THE PROJECT:

For the design of the ‘Lemonade Factory’, the architects at Bureau Fraai drew inspiration from the ‘green’ history of KlaversJansen, where vegetables were preserved.

Additionally, the green facade not only refers to the adjacent ‘Speelhuislaan’ street but also symbolises a sustainable future. This building functions as a stepping stone between the existing residential neighbourhood and the cultural cluster.

Pretty Plastic’s ‘Second High’ tiles are the perfect solution for the requested green and sustainable appearance.

The ‘Limonadefabriek’ consists of six floors. Pretty Plastic’s ‘Second High’ tile is specially designed to be used for these kinds of apartment complexes with variable floors up to 45 metres high.

The tailor-made developed mounting brackets, made from 80% recycled aluminium, have been thoroughly tested and certified to provide a solid mounting system. In combination with aluminium omega profiles the tiles can be easily installed and are also detachable for possible future reuse. More updates to follow soon.

“This building functions as a stepping stone between the existing residential neighbourhood and the future cultural cluster.”
